We well start our 4 days tour from Fes to Merzouga by Driving across the Atlas Mountains from Fes to Ifrane, a lovely hamlet famed for its Alpine-style buildings and cedar trees.

Watch the sunrise over the sand dunes by getting up early. After breakfast, embark on a desert tour of the Erg Chebbi dunes, a nomad camp, and sandboarding. Return to your camp in the evening for another traditional Moroccan supper and bonfire.
Return to Merzouga on your camel and check out of your hotel. Depart towards Fes, stopping along the road to see Rissani, a town noted for its traditional market.
This journey is an excellent way to see the best of Morocco, from the breathtaking scenery and lovely villages to the rich culture and delectable cuisine. You will also have the chance to enjoy the enchantment of the Sahara Desert.
Trip itinerary
Day 1: Fes to Midelt (300 kilometers)
Your tour begins in Fes, where you will meet your driver and guide. Following that, you will go on a magnificent journey across the Atlas Mountains, stopping along the way to view the breathtaking scenery and quaint communities.
Ifrane, noted for its Alpine-style buildings and cedar forests, will be your first destination. You can stroll through town, visit the Lion Head Rock, or simply relax at one of the many cafes.
You will continue your journey to Midelt, a little village in the Atlas Mountains, after lunch. You will check into your hotel and have some time to rest upon arrival. You can enjoy a typical Moroccan meal at your hotel in the evening.
Day 2: Midelt to Merzouga (200 kilometers).
After breakfast, you will depart Midelt for Merzouga. You will stop along the road to see the Ziz Valley, a magnificent oasis with a dense palm grove. You will also be able to explore the Erfoud Market, which sells everything from traditional apparel and spices to souvenirs and handicrafts.
When you arrive at Merzouga, you will check into your hotel and enjoy some free time. You will board your camel and ride towards the desert dunes in the dusk. Enjoy the sunset over the sand dunes and the solitude of the desert night as you ride.
When you arrive at your camp, you will be welcomed with a traditional Moroccan dinner and a bonfire. After dinner, you can relax under the stars and listen to your guide’s stories.
Day 3: Tour of the Merzouga desert
You’ll get up early this morning to view the dawn over the desert dunes. After breakfast, you can take a camel ride, 4×4 trip, or quad bike tour across the Erg Chebbi dunes and visit a nomad camp. You will return to your camp in the evening for another typical Moroccan supper and bonfire.
Day 4: Merzouga to Fes (510 kilometers)
After breakfast, you’ll return to Merzouga and check out of your accommodation. Then you’ll head to Fes, stopping along the road to see the settlement of Rissani. You will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport in Fes, depending on your request.
