You’ll go on a camel trek into the Sahara Desert from Merzouga, where you’ll spend the night in a typical Berber tent. You’ll appreciate the calm and quiet of the desert night while watching the sunrise over the dunes.

Trip itinerary
Day 1: Tangier to Fes
Your vacation begins with a picturesque drive from Tangier to Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest cities. Fes’s well-preserved medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is well-known. You’ll check into your hotel upon arrival and then spend the remainder of the day to explore the city.
Day 2: Full day in Fes
You’ll have the entire day today to explore Fes’s medina. You’ll visit the Chouara Tannery, where leather is still tanned using traditional methods, and the Attarine Medersa, a lovely Islamic school, with a local guide. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Karaouine Mosque, one of the world’s oldest universities.
In the afternoon, you’ll participate in a culinary lesson where you’ll learn how to prepare some of Morocco’s most popular dishes. You’ll have a fantastic dinner at a traditional Moroccan restaurant in the evening.
Day 3: Fes to Merzouga
You’ll go to Merzouga, a small town in the Sahara Desert, today. You’ll stop in Ifrane along the way, which is noted for its Swiss-style buildings and cedar trees. You will also be able to tour the Middle Atlas Mountains and the Ziz Valley.
When you arrive at Merzouga, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing. In the evening, you’ll go on a camel trek through the desert, where you’ll spend the night in a typical Berber camp.
Day 4: Merzouga desert tour
You’ll get up early today to witness the sunrise over the desert. Following breakfast, you will embark on a 4×4 trip of the Erg Chebbi dunes. You’ll also get to meet a nomadic family and learn about their way of life.
You’ll return to your hotel in the afternoon and enjoy the rest of the day to unwind. You’ll enjoy a traditional Moroccan supper and a traditional Berber music show in the evening.
Day 5: Merzouga to Meknes
Today you will go to Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities. On the route, you’ll stop in Errachidia, which is located on the banks of the Ziz River. You will also be able to tour the Middle Atlas Mountains.
When you arrive in Meknes, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the city. Meknes is famous for its well-preserved medina, royal palace, and lovely gardens.
You’ll have a fantastic dinner at a traditional Moroccan restaurant in the evening.
Day 6: Meknes to Tangier
Today you will return to Tangier, where your tour will conclude. You’ll stop in Volubilis, a Roman archaeological site, along the trip.
When you arrive in Tangier, you will be taken to your hotel or the airport for your travel home.
