This 8 days tour from Tangier will take you to some of the country’s most beautiful and iconic locations, including as Tangier, Chefchaouen, Fes, Merzouga, Ouarzazate, and Marrakech.
You will travel from Tangier to Chefchaouen on the first day, a lovely mountain village noted for its blue-washed walls. The next day, you will go to Fes, Morocco’s oldest and most imperial city. You will spend the entire day in Fes, touring the medina, the Chouara Tannery, and other ancient sights.
The fourth day will take you to Merzouga, a desert oasis on the outskirts of the Sahara Desert. You will take a camel ride into the desert and camp out under the stars. On the fifth day, you will get the entire day to explore the desert, including a 4×4 trip of the Erg Chebbi dunes, a visit to a Berber community, and a sunrise over the Sahara.
You will travel to Ouarzazate, a city in the Atlas Mountains, on the sixth day. You will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site Kasbah Taourirt as well as the Atlas Film Studios, where many Hollywood blockbusters have been shot.
You will go to Marrakech, Morocco’s most popular tourist destination, on the seventh day. You will spend the day exploring the medina of Marrakech, including the Jemaa el-Fnaa square, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, and the Saadian Tombs.
On the eighth and last day of the tour, you will be taken to Marrakech International Airport for your departure home.

Trip itinerary
Day 1: Tangier to Chefchaouen
The first leg of your 8 days tour from Tangier, will be a private transfer from Tangier to Chefchaouen. This picturesque mountain community is famed for its blue-washed walls and medina, which houses traditional shops, cafes, and restaurants. After checking into your accommodation, you’ll have the afternoon to explore the town and soak up the laid-back ambiance.
Dinner will be served in a local restaurant in the evening, where you will be able to enjoy some of Morocco’s delectable food.
Day 2: Chefchaouen to Fes
After breakfast, you’ll travel to Fes, Morocco’s oldest and most royal city. You will stop along the journey at the archaeological site of Volubilis, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
When you arrive in Fes, check into your hotel and then spend the afternoon exploring the city’s medina, which is one of the largest and best maintained in the world. You will also see how leather is still tanned using traditional methods at the Chouara Tannery.
Dinner will be served at a traditional Moroccan restaurant in the evening.
Day 3: Full day in Fes
You will have the entire day today to explore Fes. You will visit the Attarine Madrasa, the Bou Inania Madrasa, and the Kairaouine Mosque, one of the world’s oldest mosques. You will also see the Royal Palace and the historic Jewish district, Mellah.
In the afternoon, you’ll go to the Nejjarine Museum of Wooden Arts and Crafts to learn about the traditional woodworking skills still utilized in Fes.
Dinner will be served in a restaurant with live music in the evening.
Day 4: Fes to Merzouga
After breakfast, you will travel to Merzouga, a desert oasis on the outskirts of the Sahara Desert. Along the journey, you’ll stop in Ifrane, which is renowned as Morocco’s “Switzerland.”
When you arrive in Merzouga, check into your hotel and then spend the day relaxing and admiring the desert environment. In the evening, you will embark on a camel trip into the desert, where you will camp beneath the stars for the night.
Day 5: Merzouga desert tour
You will have the entire day today to explore the desert. You will take a four-wheel-drive trip of the Erg Chebbi dunes, visit a Berber settlement, and watch the sunrise over the Sahara Desert.
You will return to your hotel in the afternoon to rest and enjoy the pool.
You will have a traditional Moroccan meal at your hotel in the evening.
Day 6: Merzouga to Ouarzazate
After breakfast, you’ll travel to Ouarzazate, a city in the Atlas Mountains. You will stop along the journey to the Todra Gorge, a towering canyon popular with climbers and hikers.
When you arrive in Ouarzazate, check into your hotel and then spend the day exploring the city. You can visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site Kasbah Taourirt as well as the Atlas Film Studios, where many Hollywood blockbusters have been shot.
Dinner will be served at a restaurant with a view of the Atlas Mountains in the evening.
Day 7: Ouarzazate to Marrakech
You will embark for Marrakech, Morocco’s most popular tourist destination, after breakfast. You will stop along the road at the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has used as a filming setting for numerous films and television shows.
When you arrive in Marrakech, check into your hotel and then spend the day exploring the city’s medina. You can go to the Jemaa el-Fnaa market square, which has everything from snake charmers to food vendors. The Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, and the Saadian Tombs are also worth seeing.
Dinner will be served at a traditional Moroccan restaurant in the evening.
Day 8: Departure from Marrakech
On the end day of your 8 days tour from Tangier, You will have a free morning after breakfast to conduct some last-minute shopping or touring. You will be transported to the airport in the afternoon for your trip home.
